Pastor Thomas Baker was saved in February of 1976 and soon after went to school to learn the Bible. He is a graduate with a THG from Tabernacle Baptist Bible College of Greenville, S.C. He was ordained to the gospel ministry at Columbus Baptist Church in Richmond, Michigan on December 27, 1984. He was an assistant pastor at First Baptist Church in Richmond, Michigan from 1982 to 1984. He than pastored Calvary Baptist Church in Brown City, Michigan from 1985 to 1989. Then he took a pastorate at Bethel Baptist Church of Camp Douglas, WI from 1989 to 1995.

After a few years secular work and doing different ministries, Pastor Baker has returned on December of 2004 to pastor Bethel Baptist Church again. The pastor and his wife Marie have 5 children and 3 grandchildren.

Pastor Baker’s life verse is Colossians 2:6, “As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him.”
